​Velara Video Player (“the App”) is developed by Umar Bin Masood (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. By using this app, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

​INFORMATION WE COLLECT

​We do not require you to register or provide any personal data directly (such as your name or email address). However, the app integrates trusted third-party services that may automatically collect limited technical data to function correctly.

​a. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. To respect your privacy, we have configured the app to serve Non-Personalized Ads (NPA) by default.

​Data Collected: AdMob may collect your Device ID, IP address, and product interaction data (such as ad impressions and clicks).

​Purpose: This data is used solely for serving ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and debugging.

​No Tracking: We do not use this data to track you across other apps or websites for targeted advertising purposes.

​b. Analytics and Configuration (Firebase by Google)

We use Firebase to improve app performance and remotely configure app features.

​Data Collected: App usage data (screens visited), device model, and crash reports (Crashlytics).

​Purpose: To identify bugs, improve app stability, and enhance user experience.

​c. In-App Purchases (Apple App Store)

When you make purchases, payment is handled securely by Apple’s App Store.

​We do not collect or store any payment or credit-card details.

​Apple may collect transaction data according to their privacy policy.

d. Local Media Access Only: The app may access your photos or videos stored on your device in order to display them in the app. 

This media is processed locally on your device. 

We do NOT upload, store, analyze, or share your photos or videos on any server.

​HOW WE USE INFORMATION

​We use the collected data strictly to:

​Display non-personalized advertisements.

​Prevent fraud and ensure the security of the app.

​Improve app performance, fix crashes, and ensure reliability.

​Manage subscriptions and premium features.

Biometric Data: If you enable Face ID to unlock the private vault, biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device. 

We do NOT store or process your Face ID data. 

Face ID matching happens securely inside the device’s Secure Enclave.

​DATA SHARING

​We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

​We share limited, technical data with our third-party service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase, Apple) strictly for the purposes outlined above (advertising, analytics, and payments). These providers are obligated to handle data in compliance with relevant privacy laws.

​USER CHOICES

You can control or limit data collection by:

​Limit Ad Tracking: Adjusting the "Allow Apps to Request to Track" setting or "Limit Ad Tracking" in your iOS Settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking).

​Subscriptions: Managing or canceling subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

​DATA SECURITY

​We take reasonable measures to protect your data. All sensitive operations (such as payments) are handled securely through Apple’s encrypted systems. We do not store personal data on our own servers.

​CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

​Our app is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

​CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

​We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the new policy.
